Hua Hin to Open!

Hua Hin is scheduled to reopen in October!

Airlines, such as Jetstar Asia, China Express, Greater Bay Airlines and Scoot, seem to be eager to start operations to the popular seaside destination again. Talks are in place with more airlines to add even more international flights to the province.

Currently Hua Hin boasts over 60 hotels and resorts and is a popular resort considering its close proximity to Bangkok. Hua Hin is aiming to welcome 100,000 tourists in 2022. Markets whose airports are within a 5-hour flight radius will play an important role in achieving this goal, especially China, India, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Health authorities are in the process of speeding up the vaccination programme. The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Prachuap Khiri Khan Office announced that fully vaccinated tourists will no longer have to quarantine after testing negative for COVID-19. Similar to the Phuket Sandbox programme, visitors will have to stay for 14 days in Hua Hin and get tested twice before being able to continue the journey to other parts of the country.

We’ll keep you updated with the latest news as it’s released.
