The Tanyoli Wilderness

In Vietnam’s Mui Dinh district, a new destination is attracting the attention of both adventurous locals and tourists.

Tanyoli is an untouched wilderness that is just starting to be known. It’s about 1.5 hours drive from Cam Ranh airport, 2.5 hours from Nha Trang and 6 hours from Saigon.

The rugged rocky coastline is broken up by swathes of deserted sandy beaches. Further inland are salt flats, rural farms surrounded by agricultural land – and even desert which can be explored by four-by-fours or ATVs.

On a rugged peninsular jutting into the East Sea is the Nui Chua National Park. The park protects the considerable flora and fauna in the area, including the Black Asian Bear. Because it’s so mountainous, the peninsular has remained relatively untouched. Trekking to Nui Chua Mountain is an incredible experience and the ideal way to explore the pristine beauty of the area.

Tanyoli is the perfect place to seek solitude and get lost in the blue sky and the luscious scenery.
