Bali – $10 Beauty Levy

In an effort to preserve Bali’s beauty for a vital tourism industry, it has announced an extra entry fee to the ‘Island of the Gods’

Starting February 14th, 2024, travelers from abroad will be required to pay a modest fee of $10, or IDR 150 K, upon entry. This is to be paid by any international visitor entering Bali, whether by air, sea or land. The fee is separate from existing visa fees for the Visa on Arrival VOA.

Payment will be made possible in advance through the ‘Love Bali’ app from 14th February onwards. Downloadable via https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/ or the usual app stores. Payment can be made through this website. Should you not be able to make payment through this website or the app then payment upon arrival can also be done in cash, by card or other electronic methods at Bali’s various entry points.  Should ICS have the ability to do this in advance for its clients, we will certainly do so. However, currently it looks as though only personal payments can be made for the time being.

Exact implementation for people traveling outside of Bali and returning remain unclear for the time being, but we will monitor this closely and update as soon as we know. We will update further after February 14th whether ICS can incorporate this small fee into its proposals and take care of payment on behalf of its clients.

Together with the Bali government we look forward to seeing this levy contribute to the preservation of the unique Bali culture and Nature.
