I’m Lilly from ICS Travel Group in China and I have worked as a travel consultant for over 11 years. I feel honored to arrange unforgettable journeys for our clients from all over the world. I have been a German-speaking guide since I graduated from university in 2011 in Beijing, and I started my career as a travel consultant in 2013.
Life is like a journey, and I have gained my family along the way. I enjoy traveling with my kids to show them the beauty of our cities and country. I believe in continuous learning through travel! In my free time, I also love playing badminton with my son and reading together with my kids.
China, one of the world’s oldest civilizations, boasts a history that spans over 5,000 years. Geographically, China offers breathtaking landscapes, from the majestic mountains of Tibet to the picturesque karst formations in Guilin and the bustling urban life in cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
I have visited many cities in China, but Guilin holds a special place as one of my favorites. Among its treasures, I particularly love Yangshuo, a breathtaking destination celebrated for its stunning karst landscapes. The outdoor activities there are incredible, especially cycling tours that take you through lush rice paddies, along the serene Li River, and past iconic spots like Moon Hill and the Yulong River.
One of my favorite places to stay is the Banyan Tree Hotel. Nestled against the area’s breathtaking scenery, it offers a peaceful and beautiful retreat that perfectly complements the natural wonders of Yangshuo.
As 2024 approaches, China’s tourism industry is set to flourish with welcoming initiatives like free visas, making it easier than ever to discover the authentic wonders of this incredible country. We warmly invite you to experience the revitalized charm of China firsthand.
