A Journey Through Jaisalmer

Hello, I’m Susu Tran! I grew up in a mountainous area of Vietnam, spending much of my childhood exploring pine forests and the mountains surrounding our colonial-style house. Each day was an adventure, and I dreamed of having a career that felt like a constant expedition.

Today, I’m living that dream as a Product Developer at ICS Vietnam. It’s truly a privilege to combine my passion for exploration with my work. With a second home and extended family in Luxembourg, I’ve also gained the opportunity to see the world from a different perspective, enriching both my personal and professional journey.

Last year, I had the opportunity to travel to Rajasthan in India. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, desert landscapes, historic forts and palaces. Jaisalmer is one of the best cities showcasing Rajasthan’s royal history and architectural splendor. Stepping lightly onto the stone pathways of Jaisalmer Fort, you immediately feel the mystique of its 900-year-old sandstone walls, glowing golden under the desert sun.

From the fortress’s summit, the city below unfolds like a vibrant painting. Narrow streets weave through yellow, slanted-roofed houses. The grand walls and winding corridors of the fort are intricately adorned with detailed sandstone carvings.

I stayed at the Fort Rajwada Hotel, a heritage-style hotel that beautifully blends traditional Rajasthani architecture with modern comforts.

In 2024, I’ve cherished a fascinating year of growth and adventure with ICS. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas filled with warmth, peace and vivid travel memories!
