India is rich in traditions and colourful cultures. The vast sub-continent is a mystical land that offers an array of unforgettable experiences and casts a magical spell on its visitors.
Due to the improvement of the COVID-19 situation in India, the government has further relaxed visa and travel restrictions and has brought back the Tourist/e-Tourist Visa for foreign tourists.
The e-Tourist Visa will be issued for five years and will be available to nationals of 156 countries with immediate effect. Nationals of these 156 countries will also be eligible for issuance of a fresh e-Tourist visa.
The previously suspended Regular (Paper) Tourist visa with validity of five years has been restored. Fresh Regular (Paper) Tourist visas up to five years validity may also be issued to nationals of eligible countries subject to the restrictions imposed from time to time.
Currently valid, old Long-Duration-Regular-Tourist-Visa (10), which remained suspended since March 2020, shall stand restored for nationals of the USA and Japan. New Long-Duration-Tourist-Visa can also be issued to nationals of the USA and Japan.
Furthermore, international arrivals into India do not need to quarantine on arrival.
- Self declaration form to be uploaded
- Copy of RT-PCR report within 72hrs OR Certificate of full vaccination to be uploaded
- 2% of pax on flight randomly selected for screening (all flights)
- Requirement for quarantine removed unless tested positive during random screening
