Where nature plays muse
We are pleased to introduce the new Tilar Siro Andamans, property of CGH Earth Experience, which opens this Christmas Season on Swaraj Dweep (Havelock), in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Tilar Siro, meaning the “Land emerging from the Sea”, was the name given to the island by the original inhabitants of the Andaman archipelago, the Great Andamanese Tribe. Historically the tribes did not live on the island but often went hunting for turtles in the surrounding waters; as a result, they also called it the “Island of Turtles”.
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are located about 1.400 kilometres from the mainland of India, with the Bay of Bengal to its west and the Andaman Sea to the east. The archipelago is made up of 572 islands boasting cerulean seas and it is a quintessential getaway for the traveler who is hungry for experiences in nature, or the wanderer who is looking for the next escape. The islands are home to many exotic species of flora and fauna.
The Tilar Siro Andamans will start accepting bookings from 22nd December 2021 onwards.
