Masskara Festival Extravaganza

Set to run from October 7 to 22, 2023, the City of Smiles or Bacolod City is gearing up for the celebration of the annual Masskara Festival, which began as a way to raise the spirits of the residents of Bacolod during the sugar industry crisis in the ‘80s.

The highlight of the festival will be its culmination on October 22 when the vibrant street dance takes place. Other events include a beauty pageant, a music festival and a masquerade ball – all expected to be filled with colour, creativity and culture. Another highlight are the beautiful mask designs.
