How to Get There:

• By Air: The fastest way is to fly from Manila to Laoag International Airport (1 hour). From Laoag, take a private car to the sand dunes, about 15–30 minutes away, depending on which site (Paoay or La Paz).
• By Car: A road trip from Manila takes about 8-10 hours, making it a great option for those who enjoy scenic drives.

Best Time to Visit:

• Ideal months: November to April (cooler and drier weather, perfect for outdoor adventures).
• Avoid: June to October (rainy season, as the sand may get too damp and less ideal for 4×4 rides and sandboarding).
• Best time of day: Sunrise or late afternoon for cooler temperatures and stunning golden-hour views over the dunes and sea.
