‘The World’s 50 Best Bars’

In a global expansion of its mission to showcase diverse bar scenes, The World’s 50 Best Bars is venturing beyond Europe to hold its 15th edition in Singapore on 17th October 2023.

The focal event is set to transpire at the iconic Pasir Panjang power station in Singapore’s bustling docks. It promises to be a week-long celebration of the cocktailian community, where the world’s finest bars come together.

Following the triumphant 2022 program in Barcelona, featuring a remarkable array of over 85 satellite parties, guest shifts and activations within four days, the festivities for the 50 Best Week in 2023 will kick off on 16th October. This inaugural night will witness the renowned Bartenders’ Feast, uniting the listed bars on the eve of their rankings reveal.

The grand awards ceremony will unfold on the following day, with a brand-new addition: the 50 Best Closing Party Brunch, which will conclude the celebrations on the afternoon of 18th October.

A fresh introduction for 2023 is the 50 Best Signature Sessions—a series of five exceptional events in Singapore’s top bars during 50 Best Week. Here, international talent will collaborate with local bartenders to craft extraordinary cocktail experiences for the city’s connoisseurs. 

The 2023 ranking, determined by a distinguished Academy of over 650 anonymous drinks connoisseurs from around the globe, promises to be the most comprehensive to date. This gender-balanced panel will cast their votes in confidence, with polling criteria adjusted to accommodate evolving travel restrictions experienced over the past 18 months.
