Located just off Charoenkrung Road, not far from the river, is a hidden gem that has been serving up delicious Thai and international food for decades…

Harmonique has an entrance that only those in the know will find! Lush flora flanks the sides of the main door. On entering, and after your eyes have adjusted to the dimmer lighting, a courtyard will appear dominated by a massive banyan tree providing much needed shade. Consisting of old shophouses, the interior is decorated with Thai-style items and memorabilia. There is a definite Chinese motif – stone top dining tables and wooden chairs often seen in old family homes, red lanterns, a large golden deity statue, and more. These are peppered with more Thai items, resulting in the feeling of entering someone’s lived-in abode.

In fact, Harmonique is a small family restaurant opened by three sisters who wanted to share their love of home cooked traditional food. The owners are now in their 70s and not up to date with technology so don’t expect to find a website for this unique restaurant.

The restaurant hasn’t changed for decades which is why the clientele keep coming back!
