With spectacular views across the countryside towards the hilltop town of Cortona (of ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’ fame), Villa Fontelunga can be rented as a whole or by the room – classically proportioned and individually styled, with an eclectic mix of modern and antique furnishings.

The Villa is set within an estate of 200 olive trees. The terrace to the rear of the main building allows clients to enjoy the Villa’s spectacular view across the Val di Chiana, where breakfast (included) and lunch are served daily. Twice a week a private 3 course dinner party is organised, an event that has become synonymous with life at Villa Fontelunga.

The property includes a spacious living area, nine double bedrooms, an outside gazebo with fireplace, landscaped gardens, large pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, mountain bikes and yoga / pilates gazebo.

–The Rooms

The individually styled guest rooms of the Villa range from the Junior Suite in a separate cottage next to the main villa, to Superior, Deluxe and Double rooms in the main house. They are named in Italian after precious materials e.g “Avorio” (Ivory) and “Ametista” (Amethyst), and these colours are reflected in the styling of the bedrooms, each offering air conditioning and modern en-suite bathrooms with Molton Brown bathing products.
