A Bird’s Eye View of Kuala Lumpur
The newly opened Forest Skywalk offers panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline and most famous landmarks.
On 31st August 2020 FRIM (Forest Research Institution of Malaysia) launched the brand new Forest Skywalk!
Located above FRIM’s forest and the Kepong Botanical Gardens, this new attraction comprises an 18-metre-high and 250-metre-long suspended walkway, and a 50-metre-tall watch tower. Built in a rectangular shape, the skywalk lets you enjoy a bird’s eye view of the greens down below while experiencing the feeling of being in the tropical rainforest.
If you’re feeling adventurous, take it to the next level by climbing the 50m watchtower, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur.
Spot landmark buildings as far as 30km, such as KLCC, KL Tower, Tun Razak Exchange Tower, and Telekom Malaysia.
The Kepong Botanic Gardens houses a variety of Malaysian plants. Located on the outskirts of the city, it is a tranquil place to get away from the hustle and bustle. The small lake adds to the beauty of this garden.
