Auko is easily accessible from across Vietnam, with Dong Hoi Airport just a one-hour transfer away, while Hue is approximately three hours by road. Travellers can also experience slow travel aboard the recently inaugurated heritage train from Hue to Phong Nha, making the journey part of the adventure. Departing Hue Railway Station at 7:15am, the train arrives at Tho Loc Station at 11:55am, followed by an approximately 30-minute transfer to Auko. Along the journey, passengers can enjoy local food and onboard entertainment, making the train ride an experience in itself.
