Flying into Sustainability

After long months of waiting, international air connections with Laos are finally back in service!

We are very pleased to announce the resumption of the much-awaited flights between Luang Prabang and Siem Reap (via Pakse) from 1st November 2022 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Connections with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam or Chiang Mai in Thailand are also back in service at the beginning of November allowing us to foresee a resumption of business with the operations where we had left them pre-Covid.

New resort option in Luang Namtha

The region of Luang Namtha, in northern Laos, bordering Myanmar and China, is the ideal place for those eager to meet the local population and travel off the beaten track. This is now possible in the comfort of a four-star resort that has successfully passed our sustainability assessment. Pou Villa Resort consists of nine bungalows on stilts on a hillside and shaded by a tree-lined path, decorated in a Lao style that tastefully blends modernity and tradition. By staying at Pou Villa Resort, you become an actor of responsible tourism, as the management of the resort is fully committed to the preservation of the environment and the respect and empowerment of local communities.
