SINGAPORE

festival of light & stories

Singapore transforms into a vibrant open-air gallery during the Singapore Night Festival 2026, taking place from 21st August to 5th September 2026 in the historic Bras Basah, Bugis precinct. One of the city’s most anticipated annual events, the festival invites visitors to experience Singapore’s arts, culture and heritage in a completely different light.

This year’s festival presents a captivating programme of large-scale projection mapping, interactive light installations, live performances and immersive art experiences inspired by myths, legends and local storytelling. Heritage landmarks, museums and public spaces become spectacular canvases, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

Beyond the dazzling displays, guests can wander through charming streets lined with cafés, boutiques and cultural landmarks while discovering hidden corners of one of Singapore’s oldest districts. With many installations and performances offered free of charge, the festival is an excellent addition to any Singapore itinerary, encouraging travellers to explore the city after sunset.

Whether it’s admiring breathtaking digital art projected onto historic buildings, enjoying live music under the stars or simply soaking in the lively festival ambience, the Singapore Night Festival offers a unique perspective of the Lion City. It is an inspiring celebration where heritage meets creativity, making it a must-visit experience for both first-time visitors and returning travellers looking to discover another side of Singapore.
