Get ready to illuminate your night plans – Singapore Night Festival 2025 is back!
From 22nd August to 6th September 2025, the vibrant Bras Basah Bugis precinct transforms into a glowing wonderland under the theme “Island Nights,” honouring Singapore’s 60th anniversary with rich stories of belonging, exchange and connectivity.
This year marks the first edition curated by HeritageSG, the National Heritage Board’s creative arm, adding a renewed sense of curation and vibrancy. Expect over 80 immersive experiences including projection mapping, interactive light art, experiential installations, street performances and festival villages filled with food, retail and culture.
Two standout installations illuminate the nights:
- Sky Castle by Australia’s ENESS at Cathay Green, a mesmerizing, inflatable arch installation that reacts to movement with cascading colours and sounds, symbolizing hope after the storm
- Kampong Chill at Capitol Singapore by artist duo Sheryo & Yok – a tranquil pavilion inspired by island-time, inviting visitors to unwind, relax and savour slow living
Also dotting the precinct are projection mapping spectacles, including MOSAIC at the National Museum of Singapore and artworks at CHIJMES that craft cultural narratives through visuals.
With most outdoor installations free to experience, this festival promises an unforgettable mix of art, culture and community, perfect for families, art lovers or anyone in search of a magical night out.
