3-Day Wild Family Adventure

Honeyguide Ranger Camp, located in the Entabeni Safari Conservancy and rightfully dubbed ‘The Place of the Mountain’, is situated in the World Heritage Waterberg Biosphere. Approximately a three-hour drive north of Johannesburg, this 22 000-hectare malaria-free reserve boasts five ecosystems. 

Experience the perfect fusion of luxury tented safari camp and the untamed African wilderness at Ranger Camp. Nestled in pristine locations within the reserve, this child-friendly camp offers exciting kids’ activities, including full game drives (for those over 6 years old) and junior bush walks.
Offering unprecedented intimacy, Honeyguide Ranger Camp’s guests have exclusive access to the vast area’s abundant animal paths, hidden valleys, riverbeds and towering peaks. The camp offers breath-taking wildlife experiences, including the Big 5, rewarding bird watching, superb cuisine and service excellence.

Valid from 1 January to 31 December 2024, the camp offers a special 3-night-package deal.

Inclusions:

Day 1:
On the day of arrival, check-in at 14:00 pm. Lunch is served followed by a scheduled afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to camp for dinner.

Day 2:
Scheduled morning game drive in the reserve. Return to camp for breakfast. At midday transfer to Ranger Camp exclusive private dam for nature walk, fishing, canoeing and braai lunch around the bar area. Link up with the scheduled afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to Camp for Dinner.

Day 3:
Scheduled morning game drive in the Reserve. Return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast kids can join in on the 1.5-hour bush walk and junior game drive – parents must accompany kids. Return to camp for lunch and afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Day of Check-Out:
Scheduled morning game drive in the reserve. Return to camp for breakfast. Junior Ranger Certificate issued. Check out 11:00am.
