Seoul IN bLOOM

The annual autumn flower festival at Jogyesa Temple once again transformed the temple’s courtyard into a vibrant celebration of color and craftsmanship. Throughout the season, visitors were greeted by impressive chrysanthemum sculptures, intricate themed installations and beautifully arranged floral displays that highlighted the artistry of local horticulturists.

This year’s event was especially photogenic at dusk, when the lanterns and soft lighting illuminated the giant chrysanthemum topiaries and the massed beds of blossoms in full bloom. As the sun set, the atmosphere shifted into something truly magical, drawing both locals and travelers who lingered to enjoy the glowing installations well into the evening.

As in previous years, the festival ran from early October to mid-November, offering a serene and visually captivating experience during Seoul’s autumn months. Those who visited were treated to one of the city’s most charming seasonal traditions.
